Deck overview

This deck is a focused Gruul Werewolf tribal aggro strategy helmed by Tovolar, Dire Overlord. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Werewolves on the early turns, casting Tovolar on Turn 3, and meeting the three-wolf threshold by Turn 4 upkeep. Transforming the pack into Nightbound forms drastically increases creature stats and grants powerful secondary abilities while Tovolar converts every combat damage connection into fresh cards. The deck uses this card advantage to continuously fuel the board with overwhelming threats like Tovolar's Huntmaster, Avabruck Caretaker, and Unnatural Growth, closing games through massive trample damage across Turns 5 to 7. Interaction is built around thematic fight and bite spells alongside artifact and enchantment destruction.
