Deck overview

This deck is a competitive turbo-combo list led by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. The core strategy leverages K'rrik's ability to pay life instead of black mana, effectively turning life totals into explosive mana velocity. The deck aims to cast K'rrik on Turn 2 or 3 using fast mana and rituals, then immediately chain tutors and draw engines into a game-winning combo on the same turn. Primary win conditions include assembling a Necrotic Ooze line with Asmodeus the Archfiend and Skirge Familiar in the graveyard, executing a Hoarding Broodlord convoke sequence with Saw in Half, looping Gray Merchant of Asphodel with Chainer, Dementia Master, or drawing the deck with Peer into the Abyss into an Aetherflux Reservoir finish. Disruptive flash threats like Opposition Agent and Orcish Bowmasters protect the deck's window, while cheap reanimation spells provide resilient recovery paths against opposing interaction.
