Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck maximizes mana efficiency by converting cheap, high-power creatures into massive cost reduction for Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The opening turns focus on deploying mana accelerants like Llanowar Elves and Sol Ring, followed by undercosted stat monsters such as Pugnacious Hammerskull and Steel Leaf Champion. By turn 4, the total board power reaches 10 or more, enabling Ghalta to enter for just two green mana. Once Ghalta is on the battlefield, the deck leverages its 12 power to draw massive chunks of cards using Greater Good, Return of the Wildspeaker, or Garruk, Primal Hunter. The game is closed out around turn 6 through decisive combat overruns such as Overwhelming Stampede, Triumph of the Hordes, or Craterhoof Behemoth. While the deck has high redundancy and strong recovery, its reliance on combat damage leaves it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and heavy spot removal.
