Deck overview

This deck is an Esper midrange strategy commanded by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns, manipulating the top card of the library using cards like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Doom Whisperer, and casting Yennett on Turn 4. On Turn 5, Yennett attacks to cheat massive, odd-mana-value spells directly into play without paying their mana costs. Key payoffs such as Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Breach the Multiverse lock down opponents, clear opposing creatures, and flood the board with overwhelming stats. While the deck boasts immense value generation and high-impact turns, it relies heavily on Yennett surviving a turn cycle to attack and lacks dedicated low-cost protection spells, making careful timing and board assessment vital.
