Alania, tempête divergente by Mackz

Format: Commander

Commander: Alania, Divergent Storm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Alania is a four-mana copying engine: the deck casts a first instant, first sorcery, and first Otter each turn, then uses Alania's copy to double the most important spell. The primary plan is to chain cheap instants and sorceries with cost reducers, generating Otter tokens and direct damage from Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Stormsplitter, then finish with a pumped unblockable combat step. Secondary paths are Niv-Mizzet, Parun as a hidden commander draw-ping engine and Ral, Crackling Wit's storm emblem. The commander's role is force multiplier; the deck can still function without her through Niv, Ral, and token makers, but loses its best copying velocity.
