Kambal

Format: Commander

Commander: Kambal, Profiteering Mayor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov token-value deck is helmed by Kambal, Profiteering Mayor, leveraging his ability to copy every token an opponent creates and drain the table whenever your own tokens enter. The primary game plan is to generate a steady stream of tokens through a dense package of token producers (Secure the Wastes, Martial Coup, Thalisse, Reverent Medium, Ophiomancer, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and a dozen more) while cumulative life-drain effects (Mirkwood Bats, Enduring Tenacity, Loyal Subordinate) and combat with an army of tokens close out the game. The deck also packs a solid recursion suite (Athreos, Shroud-Veiled, Kaya's Ghostform, Feign Death) and a few board wipes to reset the playing field. It is a midrange value engine that wins through attrition and overwhelming token presence rather than instant-speed combos.
