Deck overview

This Sultai deck merges traditional Elfball creature swarms with a potent graveyard-activated ability combo engine led by Thranduil, the Elvenking. In the opening turns, the deck accelerates mana velocity using premier low-cost dorks like Priest of Titania, Llanowar Elves, and Devoted Druid. Once Thranduil enters the battlefield, single tutor spells such as Buried Alive or Entomb directly seed the graveyard with Devoted Druid, Immaculate Magistrate, and Ezuri, Renegade Leader. Thranduil inherits these activated abilities, instantly generating infinite green mana, infinite power and toughness, and granting trample across the entire board for a decisive same-turn kill. If the commander or graveyard is contested, the deck retains full operational independence by executing classic wide-board Overrun attacks with Coat of Arms, Overwhelming Stampede, or Staff of Domination loops. Supported by targeted countermagic, asymmetric creature bounces, and board protection, the deck reliably pressures the table on Turn 5.
