Deck overview

This mono-red storm deck is commanded by Nico Minoru, Runaway, turning impulse draw and exile casting into a lethal damage engine. The deck ramps aggressively on early turns using artifacts and rituals like Desperate Ritual, Ruby Medallion, and Jeska's Will to deploy Nico Minoru alongside mana engines such as Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into a high-velocity storm turn powered by Underworld Breach, Past in Flames, and dense impulse-draw spells like Wrenn's Resolve and Reckless Impulse. Each spell cast from exile or the graveyard triggers Nico Minoru for 2 damage to each opponent, rapidly burning down the entire table in a single turn. The strategy is reinforced by redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and Hexing Squelcher to protect key turns, while Delayed Blast Fireball and Impending Flux provide asymmetric board wipes that double as win conditions.
