Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya midrange deck commanded by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. Its strategy combines high-impact creature token creation with explosive lifegain and populate triggers. In the early turns, efficient ramp accelerates Trostani onto the battlefield. The midgame focuses on creating massive creature tokens—such as 5/5 Wurms from Advent of the Wurm or giant Minions from Phyrexian Processor—which Trostani duplicates while substantially buffering your life total. Card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Caretaker's Talent keep your hand full as threats enter the battlefield. Once a dominant board is established, the deck closes the game around Turn 6 with overwhelming combat overruns from Craterhoof Behemoth, Blossoming Bogbeast, or Finale of Devastation, or by converting surplus life into targeted 50-damage strikes with Aetherflux Reservoir. Robust defensive spells like Flawless Maneuver and Rootborn Defenses protect your creature swarm from opposing sweepers while you advance your win condition.
