Sam, Loyal Attendant and Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit form the core Food/lifegain engine: Sam creates a Food every combat and discounts all Food activations, while Frodo converts life gain into Ring tempts and card draw. The primary plan is to multiply token output with Peregrin Took, Exalted Sunborn, and Treebeard, then convert that life and Food mass into a win through Gollum, Obsessed Stalker's end-step drain, Mirkwood Bats, or Sanguine Bond. Combat is a secondary route using Feasting Hobbit, Banquet Guests, and Halfling tokens. Frodo Baggins and the many Samwise variants provide recursion and hidden-engine redundancy, with Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant acting as a late-game tutor if life goes very high.
