Commander: Killian, Decisive Mentor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Killian, Decisive Mentor is the engine: every enchantment entering taps and goads a creature, and every attack by an Aura-enchanted creature draws a card. The deck is built around cheap Auras and enchantment taxes, forcing opponents' creatures to fight each other while Killian and Eriette of the Charmed Apple turn each Aura into card advantage and a draining clock. Secondary paths include a voltron kill with Eldrazi Conscription and Whispersilk Cloak, a Starfield of Nyx plus mass-recursion army, and an Inkshield counterattack. Killian, Ink Duelist acts as a hidden cost-reducer for targeted spells, making Eldrazi Conscription six mana and enabling earlier kills. The deck is not a fast combo deck; it wins by grinding through goad triggers, taxes, and life-loss.
