Deck overview

Kona, Rescue Beastie headlines a mono-green stompy deck that cheats colossal permanents into play well ahead of schedule. The main game plan establishes an early tap outlet such as a vehicle, spacecraft stationing, or Earthcraft to tap Kona immediately, triggering survival in the second main phase to put massive threats like Blightsteel Colossus, Apex Devastator, or Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant directly onto the battlefield. Secondary paths leverage explosive mana engines like Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and Gaea's Cradle to hardcast high-mana threats or draw the entire deck with Staff of Domination. The deck secures victories through overwhelming trample combat damage via Craterhoof Behemoth, Pathbreaker Ibex, and Unnatural Growth.
