Deck overview

This deck combines an Orzhov hatebear chassis with an aristocrats engine and an infinite life-drain combo. Led by Liesa, Forgotten Archangel, the deck establishes early board control through disruptive creatures such as Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria, and Linvala, Keeper of Silence. These pieces slow opposing game plans and buy time to assemble the game-ending loop of Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose paired with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Liesa, Forgotten Archangel breaks parity by providing asymmetric recursion for friendly nontoken creatures while permanently exiling opposing dying creatures. Card advantage engines like Skullclamp, Call of the Ring, and The One Ring maintain resource flow through taxing board states. Once the combo pieces are deployed, any combat damage or drain trigger immediately eliminates all three opponents on the spot.
