Deck overview

This is a mono-black Phage the Untouchable Voltron deck built around one decisive combat trigger: once Phage connects, that player loses the game on the spot. The entire 99 exists to put Phage onto the battlefield legally (she must be cast from hand, or her ETB must be blanked), suit her with evasion and protection, and shepherd her through successive combat steps until the table is eliminated. Enablers such as Command Beacon, Netherborn Altar, Torpor Orb, and the two "you can't lose" angels (Platinum Angel, Darksteel Angel) solve the command-zone problem, while a dense Equipment and utility-land package (Whispersilk Cloak, Trailblazer's Boots, Rogue's Passage, Genji Glove) guarantees the hits. Secondary pressure comes from heavy hitters like Phyrexian Obliterator and Vilis, Broker of Blood, but the prime win condition remains commander damage of the most final kind.
