Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya Angel tribal and lifegain aggro deck led by Storm, Windrider. The game plan revolves around deploying resilient flying Angels, accelerating mana with early green ramp and tribal cost reducers, and utilizing the commander's unique static ability to make your aerial assault entirely unblockable. Because creatures with flying cannot block your creatures or attack you, targeting spells turns any opposing creature into a flyer that is unable to harm you. Compounding lifegain engines like Archangel of Thune, Righteous Valkyrie, and Resplendent Angel rapidly grow your board into an insurmountable combat force. The deck protects its board state with high-impact defensive spells like Heroic Intervention and indestructible anthems such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Sephara, Sky's Blade. It establishes decisive pressure by turn 5 and cleanly closes the game through unblockable combat damage by turn 7.
