Deck overview

This Grixis deck operates as a synergy-driven discard and graveyard-casting engine helmed by Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and deploying Norman Osborn on turn 2 to filter cards via unblockable connive attacks. By turn 4, the deck transforms Norman into Green Goblin, unlocking the mayhem mechanic for discarded cards alongside a static two-mana discount on graveyard spells. The midgame converts discard triggers into overwhelming tempo through continuous burn engines like Magmakin Artillerist and Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, board wipes via Archfiend of Ifnir, and card advantage from Currency Converter and Secrets of the Dead. Wheels such as Windfall and Dark Deal refuel the graveyard while triggering table-wide damage and creature attrition. The deck finishes games by overwhelming opponents with swarming tokens from Living Laser, massive direct discard damage, and unblockable combat pressure over two response cycles.
