Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula leads a high-velocity Grixis spellslinger deck that converts combat attacks into explosive table-wide finishes. Azula provides built-in mana acceleration through Firebending 2 and automatically copies spells cast while she is attacking. The deck combines efficient rituals like Seething Song and Mana Geyser with cost reducers and Treasure engines like Storm-Kiln Artist to amass large mana pools. Card selection through low-cost cantrips digs into decisive finishers including Torment of Hailfire, Crackle with Power, Exsanguinate, and storm staples like Tendrils of Agony. While capable of winning in a single explosive turn once assembled around Turn 5, the plan requires careful timing because sorceries cannot be cast during combat without specific enablers. Without unconditional tutors, the deck relies on cantrip volume and remains vulnerable to well-timed creature removal or stack interaction.
