Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Jeskai spellslinger strategy commanded by Shiko and Narset, Unified. The game plan revolves around the flurry mechanic, which rewards casting exactly two spells each turn by copying targeted spells or drawing cards. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through artifacts and sculpting the hand with efficient cantrips like Preordain and Opt. Once the commander enters the battlefield, the deck deploys compounding spell payoffs such as Guttersnipe, Veyran, Voice of Duality, and Storm-Kiln Artist. These pieces convert low-cost spells and rituals into massive mana generation, board control, and table-wide burn. Interaction is dense and flexible, utilizing free counterspells like Force of Will alongside copied spot removal. The deck closes games around Turn 6 by overwhelming opponents with continuous spell triggers, direct burn damage, and evasive combat attacks.
