Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck, helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, aims to grind out incremental advantage through death triggers, then close the game with an infinite drain loop or a massive Torment of Hailfire. The commander provides repeatable card draw on attack and a life-drain emblem after transforming, accelerating the deck's value engine. The 99 is packed with sacrifice outlets (Viscera Seer, Phyrexian Altar, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician), token generators (Bitterblossom, Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder, Tombstone Stairwell), and payoffs (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, The Meathook Massacre). It wins primarily by assembling an infinite death/mana loop, often using Gravecrawler plus a free sacrifice outlet and a drain piece, or through Pitiless Plunderer generating infinite treasures. Bolas's Citadel and Gray Merchant of Asphodel provide alternative non-infinite finishers.
