Johny Boy by stinkin_lincoln

Format: Commander

Commander: Jon Irenicus, Shattered One

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Jon Irenicus donates creatures with severe downsides and makes them attack opponents instead of you. You play cheap Demons, Horrors and artifact blockers like Abyssal Persecutor, Archfiend of the Dross, Hunted Horror, Grid Monitor and Leveler, then give them away at your end step. They enter tapped with two +1/+1 counters, become goaded, cannot be sacrificed, and attack each combat, while each attack draws you a card. Assault Suit, Sleeper Agent and Coveted Falcon provide extra donation outlets. The deck controls the table with a dense counterspell suite and wheels like Windfall with Notion Thief, and wins as donated creatures grind opponents down and drain life.
