Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf-tribal swarm deck that pairs the classic "dump Elves, generate absurd mana" plan with a -1/-1 counter subtheme around the commander. High Perfect Morcant blights each opponent's board on every Elf ETB, and his proliferate ability lets those -1/-1 counters snowball, grows your own +1/+1-counter Elves, and accelerates poison counters from Triumph of the Hordes or Inkmoth Nexus. The early game is pure tribal efficiency: more than a dozen mana dorks feed giant-mana engines like Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid, while Beast Whisperer and Leaf-Crowned Visionary refill the hand and token makers like Elvish Warmaster and Imperious Perfect build a massive board. The kill is a single combat step via Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, or Ezuri, Renegade Leader's overrun, with Lathril, Blade of the Elves' drain as a secondary route. The commander is a value amplifier, not the engine.
