Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord heads a Grixis control-reanimator deck that grinds advantage while setting up graveyard combos. The primary plan uses Sauron to amass Orcs when opponents cast spells and to draw four cards whenever the Ring tempts you after combat damage, filling your hand and graveyard for reanimation. You then loop Worldgorger Dragon with Animate Dead, Dance of the Dead, or Necromancy for infinite mana and close with Torment of Hailfire. Secondary paths win with reanimated bombs like Archon of Cruelty, Consecrated Sphinx, and Jin-Gitaxias, or with Hullbreaker Horror plus Mox Amber and Sol Ring for infinite mana and bounces. Sauron is a draw engine, not a combo piece. Razaketh, the Foulblooded acts as the hidden commander, sacrificing creatures to tutor any missing piece.
