Da Bears by p10

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-green Bear tribal stompy deck helmed by Beorn the Fierce. Beorn is a five-mana 6/6 trampler who gives other Bears +2/+2, turns one creature into a Bear at the start of combat, and draws two cards once three Bears are on the battlefield. The list ramps with a dense one-mana dork and aura package, then deploys Bear bodies, changelings, and tokens from Ayula's Influence, Dancing from Dark to Dawn, and The Earth King. Combat is the only win path: Craterhoof Behemoth, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, and Ghalta, Primal Hunger convert a wide board into lethal damage, while Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma and Surrak and Goreclaw cheapen haymakers and grant haste and trample. There are no infinite combos. Beorn is the premier engine in the command zone, but the ninety-nine is a complete stompy deck that can still close through combat if he is answered.
