Deck overview

This is an Orzhov enchantment deck led by Killian, Decisive Mentor, with Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice as the main assembly engine. The deck casts inexpensive Auras, uses Light-Paws to search for additional Auras, and builds toward either a large protected attacker or an Eriette of the Charmed Apple drain engine. Goad effects from Killian, Decisive Mentor, Coercive Impetus, Martial Impetus, and Ghoulish Impetus redirect opposing combat, while Sphere of Safety, Blind Obedience, and No Mercy improve defense. Tutors and cost reducers make the core plan consistent enough for a turn 4 operational engine. The main weakness is the finish: Eriette of the Charmed Apple needs several Auras and many end steps to defeat three opponents from 40 life. The deck has useful spot removal and protection, but little stack interaction and no compact infinite combo. It is a synergistic casual-to-high-power strategy rather than a competitive Commander list.
