Deck overview

This 4-color Commander deck led by Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper and Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist directs multiplayer combat through goad mechanics, political incentives, and symmetrical damage acceleration. The strategy establishes early mana acceleration and deploys Ludevic alongside value engines to draw extra cards whenever opponents damage each other. Midgame plays introduce widespread forced-combat pieces such as Kardur, Doomscourge, Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer, Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, and Descent into Avernus, forcing opposing boards into lethal combat while Propaganda, Crawlspace, and No Mercy protect your life total. Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper provides substantial lifegain to outlast opponents during heavy slug phases. As the table eliminates itself, the deck transitions into the 1v1 endgame by resolving decisive closers like overloaded Spectacular Showdown or Cyclonic Rift. While vulnerable to mass enchantment removal and non-combat combo finishes, the deck reliably controls creature-centric tables through continuous combat manipulation.
