Ultra Demon by Volnark

Format: Commander

Commander: Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath leads a mono-black demon midrange build that first ramps into expensive Demons. The commander's -2 creates 5/5 flying tokens for defense or pressure, while the +2 drains each opponent and gains life, setting up Defiling Daemogoth and Tivash. The backup plan is graveyard recursion through Chainer, Dread Return, and Victimize, and Tevesh Szat is a hidden commander that supplies the non-Demon sacrifice fodder needed for Dreadfeast Demon's copy ability. The deck wins by overrunning opponents with evasive Demon tokens and life-loss triggers rather than by assembling a compact combo.
