Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-red aggressive combo deck commanded by Kratos, God of War. Kratos grants global haste, double strike, and a punishing end-step trigger that damages players for leaving creatures back on defense. The deck accelerates through early mana rocks and rituals to land Kratos on Turn 2 or 3, immediately following up with high-impact attackers, extra combat enablers, and damage amplifiers. The primary win condition revolves around infinite combat steps with Aggravated Assault and Neheb, the Eternal, or catastrophic life-halving bursts via Heartless Hidetsugu combined with Solphim, Mayhem Dominus. Redundant extra-combat creatures such as Combat Celebrant, Karlach, Fury of Avernus, and Port Razer ensure lethal combat scaling, while Blood Moon, Crawlspace, and Deflecting Swat provide disruption and defense against opposing strategies.
