Deck overview

This mono-red landfall deck is led by Koth, the Geomancer, turning every basic Mountain into direct damage against all opponents and a red mana refund. The game plan focuses on establishing early land-acceleration permanents and damage amplifiers such as Mechanized Warfare, The Rollercrusher Ride, and Hawkeye, Young Avenger. Once Koth and damage multipliers are established, the deck transitions into explosive turns using mass-landfall sorceries like Nahiri's Lithoforming and Hew the Entwood, impulse engines like Virtue of Courage, or massive mana surges via Mana Geyser. These enablers trigger rapid bursts of table-wide burn that close the game in short order. While the deck possesses explosive burn potential and steady mana velocity, it relies heavily on its commander to sustain mana refunds and lacks direct answers to resolved enchantments.
