Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain typal and discard-attrition strategy led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The deck curves low-cost Villain creatures into Doctor Doom on Turn 4, immediately triggering combat connive to filter cards, buff attackers with +1/+1 counters and menace, and drain opponents whenever land cards are discarded. In the mid-game, the deck multiplies triggers using Roaming Throne, Leader, Super-Genius, and Ultron, Unlimited, expanding a threatening board while stocking the graveyard for recursion via Reanimate and The Soul Stone. A rich suite of reactive counterspells and removal keeps opposing combo decks in check, while asymmetric board wipes like Raise the Palisade and Kindred Dominance clear opposing blockers to secure a lethal combat finish by Turn 8.
