Commander: Thor Odinson

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thor Odinson leads a Boros Equipment Voltron deck that converts cheap noncreature spells and heavy weapons into rapid combat eliminations. Thor's double prowess and natural evasion make him an explosive combat threat when paired with massive stat boosts from Colossus Hammer, Blackblade Reforged, and Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor. The deck uses equip-cost reducers like Puresteel Paladin and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist to cheat high equip costs, while Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and Jeska, Thrice Reborn turn single-target commander damage into table-wide lethality. Backed by extensive instant-speed protection and a Sunforger toolbox, the primary plan rapidly builds a lethal commander and finishes opponents in swift, decisive combats.
