Deck overview

Saheeli, the Gifted commands a high-powered Izzet artifact engine that pairs explosive mana acceleration with reliable combo execution. The deck leverages cheap mana rocks, artifact lands, and Saheeli's token creation to rapidly build a high artifact count. This unlocks massive cost discounts via Saheeli's signature affinity-granting ability, enabling the deck to deploy high-cost artifacts multiple turns ahead of curve. The primary win condition revolves around generating infinite colorless mana through Basalt Monolith combined with either Forsaken Monument or Rings of Brighthearth, immediately channeling that mana into Walking Ballista or Comet Storm to eliminate all opponents in a single turn. Backing this combo is a formidable alternative package featuring crushing attrition cards like Portal to Phyrexia, combat juggernauts like Blightsteel Colossus, and deep card draw from Mystic Forge and Shimmer Dragon. Supported by flexible tutors and board wipes, the deck offers swift recovery and potent mid-game resilience.
