Public Enemy- Kaalia by Lawtair

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Mardu "cheat threats into play" deck built around Kaalia of the Vast. The plan is to land Kaalia, protect her, connect with an attack, and put an Angel, Demon, or Dragon from hand onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The threat base compounds quickly: Gisela, Blade of Goldnight doubles damage, Archfiend of Despair doubles life loss at the end step, Aurelia, the Warleader and Bloodthirster add extra combats, and Isshin, Two Heavens as One or Windcrag Siege doubles Kaalia's attack trigger for two cheated threats per swing. Value fatties like Rune-Scarred Demon, Burning-Rune Demon, and Hoarding Broodlord find missing pieces, while Sneak Attack and Reanimate provide fallback deployment. This is a mid-speed aggro-combat deck with a dense instant-speed protection package; it does not run infinite combos, but it can end games with a single enormous multi-combat turn.
