Deck overview

A Bant creature-combo/midrange deck built around Helga, Skittish Seer, whose entire game plan is chaining high-mana-value creatures. Every creature spell with mana value 4 or more draws a card, gains life, and grows Helga, and she then taps for X mana equal to her power to fund the next wave of creatures - or an {X}-costed payoff like Walking Ballista. The primary win lines are an infinite-mana loop with Peregrine Drake and Emiel the Blessed, converted directly into Walking Ballista, with Laboratory Maniac as a backup if the draw chain empties the library, and Craterhoof Behemoth as a combat close. A dense package of one-mana dorks, flash threats, free counterspells, and instant-speed protection keeps the plan fast and hard to disrupt.
