Deck overview

This deck is a Temur spellslinger strategy built around Iroh, Grand Lotus and Lesson synergies. The game plan focuses on spending the early turns ramping and discarding or casting cheap Lesson spells into the graveyard. On Turn 6, Iroh enters to grant flashback to all non-Lessons and a fixed {1} flashback cost to all Lessons. This mechanic provides massive spell velocity, converting cards in the graveyard into immediate hand extensions. Victory is achieved by chaining multiple cheap spells to trigger global damage from Fiery Inscription, Guttersnipe, and Burning Vengeance, supported by earthbent land attackers from Toph and Bumi. While the deck boasts robust protection against targeted spot removal, it relies heavily on its 6-mana commander and is vulnerable to graveyard exile and creature sweepers.
