Deck overview

This Jund deck is commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, focusing on an aggressive -1/-1 counter and aristocrats strategy. It uses low-cost mana dorks and ramp spells to cast Auntie Ool on Turn 3, followed by synergistic counter engines on Turn 4 such as Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. Placing -1/-1 counters on opposing creatures drains their life and dismantles their boards, while placing counters on friendly creatures draws cards. By Turn 5, mass counter distribution from Carnifex Demon, Soul Snuffers, or Blowfly Infestation wipes opposing boards, generates a massive army of tokens, and drains opponents down to critical life totals. The deck closes games on Turn 6 via wide combat attacks, aristocrat triggers from Blood Artist and Obelisk Spider, direct damage from All Will Be One, or the infinite Devoted Druid and Quillspike combo.
