Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Equipment Voltron and Stax Control strategy led by Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima. The primary plan accelerates into a Turn 3 Jin Sakai, then tutors and attaches high-impact equipment like Colossus Hammer or Grafted Exoskeleton using free-equip enablers such as Sigarda's Aid and Forge Anew. Jin's combat ability grants Standoff (double strike) or Ghost (unblockability), enabling one-shot commander damage eliminations starting on Turn 4 while drawing extra cards on hit. To protect this clock, the list runs a potent stax package featuring Drannith Magistrate, Opposition Agent, Grand Abolisher, and premium free countermagic. As a fully independent backup win condition, the deck includes the compact Demonic Consultation plus Thassa's Oracle combo. Although running 19 basic lands prevents Tainted Pact from functioning as a second consult line, the deck achieves rapid Voltron lethality backed by redundant tutors and format-ceiling reactive protection.
