Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue spellslinger control build centered on Ojer Pakpatiq, Deepest Epoch. It leverages Pakpatiq's ability to give every instant cast from hand rebound, effectively doubling the value of every cantrip, card draw spell, and bounce effect. The early game focuses on deploying 2-mana ramp artifacts, cost reducers like Baral, Chief of Compliance and Sapphire Medallion, and smoothing draws with efficient cantrips. On turns 4 to 5, the commander enters play, turning reactive interaction into proactive resource engines on each subsequent upkeep. The deck secures victory by landing token producers such as Talrand, Sky Summoner, Murmuring Mystic, and Shark Typhoon, which convert double-cast spells into an overwhelming airborne army. Resilient land transformation on the commander and a deep counterspell suite keep the engine running smoothly against opposing interaction.
