Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Rogue typal tempo build commanded by Anowon, the Ruin Thief. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-mana, evasive creatures such as Slither Blade, Triton Shorestalker, and Invisible Stalker to consistently connect for combat damage. Once Anowon enters the battlefield, these unblockable attacks trigger mass mill against opponents, converting milled creature cards into recurring card advantage. The deck capitalizes on this steady flow of resources by deploying mid-game combat force multipliers, including Stinkdrinker Bandit, Oona's Blackguard, and Patchwork Banner. Big closing power comes from prowling Notorious Throng to build a lethal flying Rogue army while taking an extra turn, or dropping Super State onto an evasive threat. Interaction consists of flexible counterspells, bounce effects, and one-sided creature sweeps like Crippling Fear, supported by stax and attrition pieces like Notion Thief and Rankle, Master of Pranks.
