Deck overview

This Selesnya token-and-stompy deck is helmed by Brigid, Clachan's Heart // Brigid, Doun's Mind, a two-faced commander that generates a 1/1 Kithkin on the front side and, once transformed, becomes a massive mana engine: tapping for X {G} or {W} where X is the number of other creatures you control. The primary game plan is to flood the board with early mana dorks and token producers (Scute Swarm, Avenger of Zendikar, Summon: Knights of Round), use the commander's ability to bank huge amounts of mana, then deploy an overrun finisher such as Craterhoof Behemoth or Ezuri's Predation to trample or fight through opponents. Secondary wins come from Approach of the Second Sun (cast twice), Last March of the Ents into a massive beatdown, or the repeatable creature cheat of Web of Life and Destiny. The deck is a linear, creature-heavy ramp strategy with a moderate interaction suite built around protection spells and a few indestructible-granting permanents.
