Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact control and stax list commanded by Arcum Dagsson. Its primary strategy leverages cheap artifact creatures to fuel Arcum's repeatable tutor ability, pulling high-impact noncreature artifacts directly onto the battlefield without paying their mana costs. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with dense two-mana rocks and deploying low-cost artifact fodder such as Hedron Crawler and Manakin. Once Arcum untaps on turn 4, he fetches Myr Turbine to establish an endless stream of sacrificial tokens. Arcum then systematically retrieves Darksteel Forge, Nevinyrral's Disk, and Mycosynth Lattice. By turn 7, this combination creates an asymmetric, repeatable board wipe that destroys all opposing permanents and lands while leaving your board intact. Opponents are completely locked out of the game, allowing Myr tokens, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, or Myr Battlesphere to close the match unopposed. Robust countermagic and tax pieces protect the setup from disruption.
