Commander: Slogurk, the Overslime

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Simic lands-matter value deck helmed by Slogurk, the Overslime. The plan revolves around flooding the board with extra land drops, deliberately putting lands into the graveyard, and looping them back for relentless mana, card selection, and +1/+1 counters on Slogurk. Self-mill engines and land recursion turn the graveyard into a second hand, while stax pieces like Mana Vortex, Back to Basics, and Land Equilibrium choke opponents' mana. Primary wins come from Thassa's Oracle after emptying the library, half-library mills via Cut Your Losses, or grinding combat damage with a massive trampling Slogurk and Centaur Vinecrasher. The commander is a convenient recursive body and land-recycler rather than a mandatory engine; the 99 already contains ample land-play and recursion support.
