Deck overview

This deck is a specialized 5-color Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. Instead of running small utility creatures, the 99 contains exclusively noncreature token generators and 18 game-ending creature and planeswalker bombs. The primary strategy revolves around accelerating mana on Turn 2, deploying a noncreature token producer on Turn 3, and casting Jace on Turn 4 to immediately activate his -3 ability. This exiles a token and flips directly into massive threats such as Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Serra's Emissary, or Nissa, Leyline Tamer. The deck features library manipulation spells like Brainstorm and Brainsurge alongside Jace's +1 to put drawn bombs back into the library where they can be cheated into play. Supported by a robust suite of efficient white-based removal and sweepers, the deck controls opposing boards while rapidly eliminating the table through overwhelming combat power.
