Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Equipment Voltron build centered on Squall, SeeD Mercenary. It leverages Squall's Rough Divide ability, which grants double strike whenever a creature attacks alone. When Squall connects with combat damage, his second ability returns low-mana permanents from the graveyard directly to the battlefield. The deck supports this game plan with a suite of utility equipment, Ninjutsu and Sneak creatures, and attrition pieces like Oppression to deplete opponents' resources while breaking parity through combat recursion. Win conditions revolve around stacking lethal commander damage on single targets with cards like Genji Glove, Shadowspear, and Ultima Weapon, backed by backup beaters such as Cloud, Midgar Mercenary and Beatrix, Loyal General.
