Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red aggressive strategy piloted by Smaug the Magnificent. It leverages early Treasure creation and creature ramp to deploy Smaug ahead of curve on Turn 4. Because Smaug possesses flying and haste, it immediately attacks to apply pressure while generating direct burn proportional to the player's Treasure count. Supporting elements include mid-game Dragons such as Rapacious Dragon, Skyline Despot, and Smaug, the Great Calamity, backed by damage augmentation from Collective Inferno. While the list features dense direct-damage removal to manage opposing utility creatures and artifacts, it lacks stack interaction and enchantment removal. Its card draw depends primarily on rummaging effects like Tormenting Voice and impulse exiles like Burning Curiosity. Winning the game requires maintaining board presence across multiple combat steps to burn and attack down each opponent sequentially by Turn 10.
