Deck overview

This Gruul kindred deck is commanded by Muerra, Trash Tactician and focuses on swarming the battlefield with low-cost Raccoons and Changelings to generate massive bursts of precombat mana. It leverages Bloomburrow's expend mechanics to trigger incremental life gain, card advantage, and stat buffs every turn. By pairing explosive mana generation with high-impact enchantments and artifacts like Beastmaster Ascension, Unnatural Growth, and Door of Destinies, the deck converts small utility creatures into lethal combat threats. Robust draw engines such as Beast Whisperer, Garruk's Uprising, and Muerra's own expend 8 ability ensure that the hand stays fueled with threats even after heavy mana expenditure. While the deck lacks infinite combos and stack-based countermagic, it delivers reliable combat pressure, resilient board protection via Heroic Intervention and Veil of Summer, and consistent mid-game velocity.
