Deck overview

Noctis, Heir Apparent is an Esper Equipment-voltron deck. Its primary plan is to assemble a high-power Equipment, attach it to Noctis for as little mana as possible, and use Warp-Strike to make him enter tapped and attacking unblockable on consecutive turns. Colossus Hammer plus a second attack turns Noctis into a two-turn 24-commander-damage clock. Cloud, Midgar Mercenary is the closest hidden commander, tutoring Equipment and doubling attached triggers once equipped. Secondary carriers like Myrel, Cid, The Mighty Thor, and Withengar keep the Equipment plan alive if Noctis is priced out. The deck uses counterspells, tax pieces, and instant-speed protection to hold the board while the voltron threat closes.
