Angel/Demon/Dragon Deck by user5704103

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a classic Kaalia of the Vast "cheat into play" strategy, built to deploy enormous Angels, Demons, and Dragons from hand directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The primary game plan is to protect Kaalia, connect in combat, and bury opponents under a relentless tide of flying, lifelinking, and trampling threats. The deck lacks infinite combos, relying instead on overwhelming combat damage augmented by a single extra-combat card (Scourge of the Throne) and a modest recursion suite. Secondary win conditions include Hellkite Tyrant's artifact-based alternative win condition and Reiver Demon's mass creature destruction. The deck is heavily dependent on its commander, and its mana base is dangerously thin, making it fragile and slow.
