Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color thematic midrange strategy built around the partner commanders Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart. The deck leverages a tight synergy loop between token creation and +1/+1 counter placement. Michelangelo attacks early to generate Food tokens and distribute counters, which in turn triggers Leonardo to grow the entire team every turn. Supported by counter doublers such as Corpsejack Menace, token enhancers like Academy Manufactor, and combat amplifiers like Raphael, the Muscle and Shredder, Shadow Master, the deck builds an immense, resilient creature board. It protects its investment through a robust suite of instant-speed defensive spells including Mutational Advantage, Heroic Intervention, and Continue?. The deck closes games around Turn 7 with overwhelming trample and menace combat damage.
