Deck overview

This deck is a low-power Boros historic aggro and burn deck led by Arbaaz Mir. The primary game plan revolves around casting Arbaaz on Turn 2, followed by a steady curve of artifacts, equipment, and legendary permanents to trigger incremental life drain and lifegain. While the deck reliably deploys its commander and begins chipping opponents early, it lacks the infrastructure necessary to compete against standard Commander decks. The card pool consists predominantly of draft commons and uncommons without competitive mana acceleration, tutors, or high-velocity card advantage engines. As a result, the deck quickly depletes its hand and struggles to maintain pressure against 120 total opposing life. Its interaction is sparse, narrow, and often over-costed, offering little resistance to opposing threats, while its proactive disruption is nonexistent. Ultimately, the deck operates as an entry-level thematic build that can deal minor incidental damage but cannot reliably assemble a decisive must-answer state or close out games.
