Deck overview

This Oloro, Ageless Ascetic deck operates as an Esper lifegain control build that stabilizes the board with sweepers and pillowfort enchantments before closing out the game with an infinite drain combo. The passive lifegain from Oloro in the command zone fuels incremental card advantage engines like Well of Lost Dreams while maintaining a high life total. The deck leverages efficient removal, versatile board wipes, and combat tax effects like Ghostly Prison to stall opposing aggression. Once stabilized around Turn 5 or 6, it looks to tutor or draw into Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond or Enduring Tenacity to eliminate the entire table in a single loop. Backup lines including Felidar Sovereign, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Approach of the Second Sun provide resilient alternative routes to victory if the primary combo pieces are contested.
